Nutrition Counseling is designed to take one big mental load off your plate: figuring out what to eat so you can actually heal, have energy, and feel more like yourself again after birth. As a postpartum doula and nutrition coach, I look at the whole picture of your days-feeding patterns, sleep (or lack of it), mood, and recovery-and help you create a way of eating that realistically fits this season.
In our session, we'll talk about your birth experience, any healing needs (such as cesarean recovery, tearing, or anemia), and your feeding goals, including chest or breastfeeding, pumping, or formula. From there, I offer specific, gentle guidance on foods and habits that support tissue repair, stable blood sugar, and more consistent energy, without asking you to cook elaborate recipes or overhaul your entire pantry.
You'll leave with simple meal and snack ideas that can be eaten one-handed, hydration strategies that support both mood and milk supply (if that's part of your journey), and ideas for batch cooking or delegating meals to friends and family in ways that truly help. I'll also help you set up your kitchen and feeding spaces so nourishment is easy to grab in the middle of long days and nights.
My goal isn't perfection; it's to help you feel resourced. With clear, kind guidance and a realistic plan in hand, you can stop worrying about whether you're "eating right" and start trusting that your food is quietly supporting your recovery and wellbeing in the background.
