Sibling Integration Support is for those tender moments when your heart feels stretched between your new baby and your older child or children. Instead of hoping everyone "just adjusts," I come alongside your family with intentional care focused on connection, reassurance, and practical tools.
During these visits, I pay close attention to how your older child is experiencing this change. I use age-appropriate language, stories, and playful activities to help them understand what a newborn can and can't do, and what their special new role might be. This might look like creating a simple "helper" job, a big-sibling ritual, or quiet one-on-one time that reminds them they are still deeply important.
I also support you as the parent-offering scripts for tricky moments ("I see you're mad that I'm feeding the baby right now"), ideas for smoothing over bedtime or mealtime chaos, and ways to involve siblings safely in newborn care without adding more stress. Because of my background in pediatric care and family support, I can help you distinguish between typical regression or acting out and behaviors that might need extra attention.
This service is not about perfection or "picture-perfect" sibling photos. It's about creating a home where big feelings are welcomed, everyone has a place, and the new baby arrives into a web of connection rather than quiet resentment. With intentional support, siblings can move from feeling displaced to feeling included-and your whole family can settle into this new chapter with more ease.
